The project and the team

The project involves improving the performance of SDN solutions by leveraging the latest hardware and software technologies. We build end to end solutions by utilizing open source and proprietary components. We need to maintain the highest quality in our outputs as the system will be used in demanding environments. To make this happen, we need to constantly evolve our CI/CD infrastructure and make sure that 100% of our tests are automated and executed on a daily basis.

Other things you should know:

  • We use Kanban/Agile methodology for our delivery work.
  • Our current tech stack for the project includes: C, DPDK, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Proxmox. You will be able to adjust the current stack and select your preferred one in future projects.

Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Discussing high and low-level technical and business requirements with clients
  • Facilitating or taking active part (depends on your technical skills and preference) in architectural discussions
  • Making sure the team has all the things they need to deliver their work in an efficient manner
  • Shaping the team according to your style of work and project needs
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying and managing project risks and issues
  • Making proper decisions together with clients and technical leaders who report to you
