CodiLime helps companies build and transform their network applications by providing expert knowledge and technical teams experienced in building, developing and integrating SDN & NFV solutions in a single, multi or hybrid-cloud environment. We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our team in Warsaw.   The project involves building a user interface for software responsible for configuring SDN (software defined networks). It relies heavily on the virtualization of network functions and allows the user to quickly set up different types of network topology.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript including ES2015-2016
  • Very good knowledge CSS3 and HTML, HTML5 APIs and DOM APIs
  • Practical knowledge of ReactJS
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of one-way data flow architectures (Flux, Redux etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of at least one unit test tool (ie. Jasmine, Mocha, Tape, Enzyme)
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Experience in developing UI using CSS frameworks (Sass, Less, CSS Modules)
  • Knowledge of functional/reactive/reactive functional programming paradigms
  • Knowledge of dev tools (npm, WebPack, gulp, browserify)
  • Broad knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of software development best practices: design patterns, continuous integration, code review, unit / functional / regression tests, Git
  • At least a basic knowledge of Linux
  • Ability to work in a team environment, problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn continuously
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and share your expertise with the team
  • Good working knowledge of English (B2 level)

We also welcome

  • Knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VRF)
  • Experience working with distributed systems
  • Knowledge of any of the following (which we use): MariaDB, etcd, OpenTSDB, gRPC, RESTful APIs, Docker; Kubernetes and Ansible
  • Experience working with Linux kernel drivers
