The project and the team

We are looking for an open-minded person who will be responsible for translating technical requirements into test cases and automating them. The project is entwined with networking solutions in specific products offered to the biggest IT companies in the world.

You will join a team of experts who are truly game-changers and have completed numerous projects within the field of networking, cloud or infrastructure automation and monitoring. As a team member you will work closely with project managers, developers, product owners and other QA engineers.

Things to know:

The development team consists of front-end and back-end developers, a solution architect and QA engineers who cooperate closely with the client
We use KANBAN or SCRUM methodology

Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

Developing automation framework code and features in python
Developing processes having to do with test setup, execution and reporting
Delivering changes in small increments
Validating the solution with the client (demo)

Do we have a match?

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you must meet the following criteria:

Strong experience in automation test methodologies for GUIs, APIs, backends and networks
Very good knowledge of Python and Pytest
Experience with frontend testing tools
Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Good knowledge of virtualization, especially KVM and Openstack
Experience with networking concepts and data generators (e.g. Keysight, Fortitester)
Good knowledge of Git, Bash scripting, Linux
Good communication skills, English on min. B2 level

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:

ISEB / ISTQB certifications
Experience with one of the following: Selenium, Playwright, Pydantic, FastAPI
Experience in measuring source code quality metrics
Knowledge in creating automation pipelines and CI/CD concepts
