The project and the team

In this project, you will support our clients in creating comprehensive tools in the most complex network environments, whether tangible or in the cloud. The growing demand for uncomplicated and ever-changing network infrastructure solutions will require an innovative approach. In this challenging environment, you will focus on providing a product refined in terms of technology as well as usability. After numerous consultations with an international engineering team from around the world, you will help to achieve the intended goals without compromising deadlines or client expectations.

What else you should know:

We understand that the internship in CodiLime may be your first commercial experience. Don’t worry, you will get buddy support from the very first day of our cooperation. Moreover, your Project Manager will help you solve any problem that you can talk directly about.
The development team consists of Front-end and Back-end Developers, UX Designers, DevOps Engineers and QA Engineers who cooperate closely with the client.

Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

Performing research on assigned topics and /or projects
Supporting experienced designers with everyday tasks
Designing network application components and functionalities
Supporting the team during meetings with clients
Designing simple graphics for internal and external use (social media / web / presentations)

Do we have a match?

As a UI & UX Intern you must meet the following criteria:

Design and/or prototype of a web/desktop application user interface. Your work needs to be included as a supplement to your application;
Experience in one or more UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch or other
Knowledge of at least one prototype tool, ex. InVision, Marvel, etc.
Care about the principles of design and close attention to detail, desirably pixel-perfectionism
Basic knowledge of what user-centred design is and why it makes all the difference
Willingness to learn and become a full-fledged designer
Written and verbal English skills on a level that enables communication
Availability for a minimum of 40 hours per week and a willingness to continue cooperation after the internship ends (min. 32 hours per week)

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:

Proactiveness when solving problems and a deep desire for personal development
Motion graphic and interaction design skills
