Senior Frontend Engineer
Prior to graduating from the Warsaw University of Technology, I began working at CodiLime as a Frontend Engineer on a complex web application for managing SDNs. Collaborating in such an experienced team allowed me to significantly increase my technical knowledge and improve my soft skills. Soon after, I started leading CodiLime's internal frontend workshops. Later, having gained enough experience, I became a Senior Frontend Engineer. In addition to architecting and programming, I started to lead the team working on CodiLime's website. I enjoy the variety of challenges I take on at CodiLime. I am looking forward to solving whatever problems the future holds.
I came across CodiLime at WUT Career Fair in 2017. My future recruitment provided me a large amount of information about the company, projects and technologies the company used. I thought ‘Wow. Sounds great’ and I decided to apply. I was given the opportunity to learn various technologies and best coding practices. I really improved my skills and acquired new ones in a warm and friendly working environment. I have participated in two SDN projects, and I also take part in internal workshops at the company’s GO! Academy. My colleagues and I meet twice a month to share our experience, knowledge and encountered issues.
I started my career at CodiLime as a System & Network administrator taking care of all IT-related stuff in the company’s Gdańsk office. After three months I jumped at the chance to join a client’s project and it has proved to be a good decision. I have mastered many new skills (e.g. how to manage Jira Cloud) and saw how it feels to work in a real-life project for a client. That project ended after a year, but just three months later I was recommended for a new networking project. At the same time I was promoted to a regular DevOps engineer. In just a year and a half at CodiLime I was able to master enough skills to be promoted to a higher position with a bigger scope of responsibilities. Currently, I am a part of a great team working on interesting projects and broadening my technical expertise.
Director of Engineering
I joined CodiLime having had some experience working as an IT Project Manager in various areas. I started working here with the Contrail Windows team and a few guys doing some Python development. At first I focused on getting the team’s development process on the right path while also boosting morale. Clients noticed our skills and we got the opportunity to compete for new projects. Our team grew from 6 to 60 people as we worked on 11 different projects for our client. My hard work and effort in the projects was appreciated, and gave me the opportunity to take on my present position, Director of Engineering.
Senior Software Engineer
I joined Codilime in 2018 as a Software Engineer on the QA Team. My main task was to automate tests for network virtualization solutions. I won’t claim the beginning was easy, especially because computer networks was a new field for me and I had to learn a lot. Over time, another challenge arose – to create a system to automate and configure test environments based on containerization and the Flask framework. The task proved fascinating, especially the opportunity to lead the project. My efforts and management skills have been appreciated, thanks to which today I’m the Team Leader of the whole QA team in the network virtualization project.
As the Director of Engineering, Krzysiek doesn’t have much time to spend it on his many hobbies. His focus of late has been on sport climbing, but he’s also a big fan of motorcycles and photography. From time to time he tinkers with electronics, programming and home automation.
As a Project Manager, Szymon is responsible for managing a team for an external client. After work, he dances and teaches lindy hop in his own dance school.
As an Agile PM at CodiLime, Andrzej is a leader of teams and a purveyor of good ideas. Outside of work he professionally trains people at fitness clubs and once or twice a year leads people into the (high) mountains. Andrzej is an Ironman, and has come some way towards making the Crown of Earth his own.
Professionally, Maciek is a Senior Project Manager and Site Manager at CodiLime’s Gdansk branch. Privately, he’s a cycling enthusiast, runner, sailor, triathlete, cross-fit lover and blogger. Maciek is bursting with positive energy and puts it to work motivating his team.
Marcin is a UX Team Leader at CodiLime. He sees to every last detail in the visual and user-experience aspects of every project. He is a big fan of motorsports, street racing and go-kart racing.
Ewa is Team Leader of the Gdansk office recruitment team. After hours, she hits the bay for windsurfing. Luckily, our Gdansk office is not far from the beach!
At CodiLime Gosia combines her passion with work. As a Recruiting Partner, she hires new employees and takes care of their physical activity by leading CodiLime’s stretching classes. In her free time, Gosia practices yoga.
At CodiLime, Jarek is responsible for content strategy. Privately, he’s passionate about sports, especially martial arts. He practiced judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and also tried out submission fighting and wrestling. Now for about 4 years he has been training amateur boxing and dreams of putting on the gloves for a boxing tournament sometime down the road.
